How it works

Three steps, once a week.

  1. 01

    Photograph

Take photos of your fridge, and the app catalogs the food it sees into your pantry.

  2. 02

    Plan

Fridgio plans seven dinners for the week, built from the food you already have.

  3. 03

    Shop

You get a grocery list of only the missing pieces, nothing you already own.

A household shares one pantry, one plan and one list.

Built on AI

Three AI steps, each checked on its own.

Fridgio is built around AI from the first photo to the last recipe.

Runs on Anthropic Claude models today.

  1. Fridge photo cataloging

The model looks at your fridge photos and writes down each food it can see.

    Photos in, pantry out
  2. Meal planning

The model plans seven dinners from that pantry and names what is missing.

    Pantry in, week out
  3. Allergy check

A separate model call reads every recipe against your household’s allergies.

    Recipe in, verdict out
Safety

Two safety rules

Allergies are a separate check.

Allergies have their own field, and every recipe in the plan gets its own AI allergy check, apart from the step that plans it.

Nothing leaves without your tap.

A scan never removes food from your pantry on its own. Food only comes off the list when you tap to remove it.
